Greetings,
I am writing because my research team and I are conducting a study and are hoping for your help. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Arizona. The website operators have given us permission to post a note about our study on this website.
My research team and I are completing a study about individuals who use the Web to find breast cancer information. The study consists of a survey that is available online and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Participants are asked to provide information about their perceptions of breast cancer and use of the Internet. The survey is completely anonymous; participants will **not** be asked to provide their name nor any other identifying information in the survey.
Although there will be no monetary compensation, I think that you would benefit from participating. The results of the survey will provide insights about some of the potential consequences associated with using the Web to find information about breast cancer. Moreover, once the study is complete (in approximately 3 months), I would be happy to post a message with an executive summary of our findings.
Would you be willing to participate? The only requirements for participation is that you must be (a) female and (b) 18 years of age or older.
If you are interested, the following link with take you to the first page of the study:

Thanks for your consideration!
