The Pennies For Pink Toy Drive

We raised $30,000 dollars for cancer just from people donating spare pennies.  we helped 50children with free cancer treatments for a year, 20 women with breast cancer,  $1000 research, $2000went to the nicunit for premies,  and $200 went to The oncology department for other cancers.  I spent so much of my life focusing on what about me for Christmas and this year I didn't get a thing from my family and friends and when I saw how much Good we did to help these people that so desperately needed…See More

I run the Pink Rose Foundation in Augusta, Georgia. I was screening this family for help with money for cancer treatment. Her family met all the qualifications for help. We went to give them the good news and she had passed away the next day. I am still at a loss on wbhat to do oin this situation.

The last two pics are my Grandson who is 10 months old. He is just adorable. Also this si the second fundraiser we have done. We have done very well. I am also still recovering from my breast cancer surgery that I had back in July.

Will pray for you...I am starting radiation treatments on Monday...I have to move to Missoula Montana during the week because our treatment center is so far away! My Oncotype DX score came back as an 8 so Chemo is not in the picture as it would not benefit me one way or the other.
