Breast Cancer Yoga is part of a complimentary holistic approach to breast health and breast cancer recovery. Breast Cancer Yoga includes specific restorative yoga poses, supportive yoga props, a blend of aromatherapy oils, healing herbal teas, medicinal massage oils, body and bath  oils. Cleaning for a Reason
Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher. And that's where the Cleaning for a Reason Foundation steps in. This newly formed nonprofit offers free professional housecleaning and maid services to improve the lives of women undergoing treatment for cancer, any type of cancer.
Massage During Breast Cancer Treatment
Acaringtouchforcancer.com is a free web-site dedicated to educating patients and caregivers about the safe practices of massage; pre, during and after treatment for cancer.  Massage done safely can relieve the physical side effects of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.  Massage, done by a  massage therapist trained in safe practices for patients in treatment for cancer can offer gentle touch to quiet the mind, create a feeling of calmness,and relieve the muscle tension due to illness and inactivity.  This site also offers information on other types of complementary care, movement therapy for patients and skin care specifically created for the skin side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment. 
Links for Life

Links for Life is a Breast Cancer Non-Profit that assists women of Kern County. We pay for breast Mammograms & Ultrasounds for individuals under the age of 40 with a doctor’s referral and if a suspicious mass is discovered we also provide funding for Needle Biopsies.  In our “Missing Link Boutique” we supply wigs and head coverings to any women going through chemotherapy.  Our self-help Support Group meets the first Tuesday of every month where women can meet with other women to access support while they are going through treatment. Our Volunteers Speak at wellness events for large companies and our Health Fair Volunteers provide education at community events in English and Spanish.

Touched With Cancer provides emotional help for people that have been diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers. As a Breast Cancer survivor since 2001, I understand the fear that can come with a cancer diagnosis.
