Buddy Check 9
Started by Andrea Roane, news anchor of channel WUSA9 in Washington DC, this program emphasizes awareness and self breast exam on the 9th of every month. Here's how it works:
* On the 9th of every month, women starting

a "Buddy", to remind her to do the same. Many "buddies"
include mothers, daughters, sisters, husbands, and co-workers.
* Women over age 40 should schedule
annual mammograms
* Get regular clinical exams by a doctor
or nurse practitioner.

My wife had an amazing attitude during her illness, and I did a pretty good job
