Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation
December 4, 2008
by Vicki Tashman
For the past five years, through
our nonprofit organization we have continued to do what it takes, to reduce the
pain and suffering of those who have to deal with cancer. What we do is to
visit patients and health care facilities, empathize, give, talk, teach, and
mostly…listen.
We hope that our message can be
better heard and received from a fellow cancer survivor who wants to
demonstrate to other survivors how life after cancer can indeed be beautiful.
We ask that if you know someone
who is going through the challenge of cancer or life after
cancer, let them know about us and we will offer our services to them. Our goal
is to help survivors to achieve the following:
1. To know
that cancer is not a death sentence but an invitation to waking up to their
inner truth that celebrates life.
2. To not
only go beyond cancer, but to return to a peaceful and meaningful life.
3. To
learn to face their feelings and emotions and to use them as a transformational
tool.
4. To
think of cancer not as their whole life but to find meaning through all of it
and evolve from it.
Workshops are an invitation for living a
conscious life that is aligned with our life purpose. Its goal is to inspire the listener that
our life is not about cancer but about our Being. An invitation for patients, survivors, and their caregivers to discover that there is life beyond cancer.
Our free public events and
weekend workshops have been conducted in health care organizations, hospitals,
clinics, cancer support groups and other nonprofit organizations supporting
survivorship programs.
One on One Coaching are journeys of self discovery for cancer
survivors to heal themselves and to live in harmony with who they are, where
they are now, and where they long to be.
Coaching
can empower the survivor to live a fulfilling life as he or she works
towards reaching their life purpose with or without cancer.
