by Siobhan White
Women who have had breast cancer are being recruited by University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for a study to examine quality of life in breast cancer over the course of the survival spectrum from diagnosis to long term survival.
Women who are over the age of 18, have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and are English speaking are being sought. There is NO limit on the time since diagnosis. No lab visits will be required to participate in this study. Participants will be required to answer a packet of questionnaires and wear an activity monitor for 7 consecutive days. All study materials will be mailed to participants via the U.S. postal service and all participants will be provided with self-addressed stamped envelopes to return materials to study investigators. Participants will be asked to complete the same procedures in 6 months. Participants will be paid for their participation.
If you are interested in participating in the study please contact Siobhan White at PABCS.illinois@gmail.com or 217-244-4510.
