Sometimes you ignore your own
dreams because of self-doubt, fear, or external complications. You can think of
many different excuses to brush those dreams aside. But, your world will become
more exciting, and you will begin to live a more passionate and meaningful
life, if you go after your dreams.
So, what is your dream? After a diagnosis of Breast Cancer, it can
deplete your self-esteem. When, in
reality, you have weathered through the storm. The year after I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I set some new goals
for myself. I wanted to go to
Hawaii and I did. I decided to move to
Southern
California and I did. I
also decided to live my life with more passion.
What are the goals you have set
for yourself? It is important we each
set goals in our life. This will make
your life more meaningful and passionate. Make the first step and write down your goals. Research shows when people write down their
goals they are more likely to achieve their goals.
The next step is to implement a
plan. If you want to take a vacation,
then plan, when and where you will go. If you want to start a new career, then start networking.
Remember, to persevere. It is not always easy to reach a goal. But, the harder you work the sweeter the
victory.
When you reach your goal, reward
yourself. You have put a lot of hard
work into reaching your goal, take time to enjoy the victory.
I wish you all great success in
your new life!
